I just wanted to send a quick thanks for all the great work that Russell and the team from Crawford’s Tree Service did today at my house.

I had six trees that had to be removed to make way for a pool. Russell came out and quoted an aggressive price. The trees were located all near my fence line and near a shed. Russell and the team all went to work and got it done in less than 2 hours with no damage to the surroundings. They even raked my yard of debris and cleaned off my patio after!

I will definitely use them again if the opportunity presents itself. Highly recommended.

Russell Crawford of Crawford’s Tree Trimming has done three jobs for us and we have been very pleased with the results and the professionalism exhibited by Russell and his crew through the entire process.

The most recent project completed was quite challenging. Russell and his crew cleared the bluff of our lot that we intend to build on at Lake Travis. The bluff is a 170 foot drop from the lot edge to the water level and slopes at a steep 30 degrees. The face of the lot bluff was so thick with brush and cedars that it was nearly impossible to see the lake view. It took the crew 4 days of repelling with chain saws in hand and hauling the cleared brush and logs back up the bluff where they mulched it into a large pile. The end product was outstanding! We have a stunning view of the lake now, with a clear path for a tram and the most spectacular trees remain to complement our property.

This was a very difficult job and Russell handled it like a champ. My wife and I very much appreciate the good job and would highly recommend Russell and crew for any job, large or small.

This note it to just let you know that I really appreciate the job you did clearing out the footprint for my new home. It is always nice to deal with someone who returns calls and keeps appointments. From my first phone call asking for services and a price on the work to be done you have been timely. You were at our first appointment on time, gave me a fair piece and a working time line. Work was done well, on time and stayed within your quoted price even with my wife adding small items to your cutting list.

It was also nice to see the same kind or response to my call for added clearing on the same lot. I was trying to save every oak so I got the footprint a little tight. However you came through again with over and above timing and cost. When you met me at the lot again and found out PEC needed trees cut to set my power, you cut then down on the spot. I really appreciated this effort on you part. You also gave me a extra fair price to remove the other oak trees, and did so in a timely manner.

I recently selected Crawford’s Tree Service for a land clearing project at a property I own just outside of Austin. This process began with me taking bids and meeting with 3 different contractors.

The purpose of this email is provide customer feedback regarding your recent tree service on my back yard oak trees.

In 1999, my Oak trees were in need of major pruning and shaping. I used a well know, local tree pruning service that had ‘years of experience’.  Despite my direction on what I wanted pruned, the tree service pruned the trees as they saw fit, which was not much at all.  The bill, however, was pretty steep given the amount of work that had been done. I struggled to see what actually was change from the “before” and “after” pruning. When I asked why my instructions were not followed, the tree service indicated that they were the experts and would not prune the tree more than the staff arborist directed. This experience left me a bit tainted and I was reluctant to use a tree pruning service, again. I expected the arborist to guide me and discuss with me options for pruning, not make the final decisions without my consult.

In late 2008 , Crawford’s tree service was in my neighborhood and stopped by my home while they were working another job. My wife talked me into using them to prune our oaks the way that I had always wanted them groomed. Crawford’s tree service did the job during the day while I was at work. When I got home and saw my backyard, it looked absolutely fabulous. There was no trace of the tree crew being there and the oaks had a beautiful canopy, no ball moss, no dead wood. Our house guest always comment on the beauty of our oaks and how healthy and tall they look. Crawford’s indicated that the oaks are easily 75 to 100 years old.

When I want quality, reliable tree pruning services, I call Crawford’s. I just recently scheduled Crawford’s to prune my 25 year old ash tree. I can’t wait to see the results.

I used the tree trimming and lot clearing services of Russel Crawford [Crawford's Tree Service] recently. They did a good job at a fair price, and I would recommend them to others.

They raised the canopy on two Monterey Oaks in front of my home. The appearance of the trees was remarkably improved, and the curb appeal of my home was enhanced.

They also thinned and removed overgrown brush and cedar in the natural rear quarter of my half acre lot. I still have the “greenbelt” natural boundary, but I don’t have the unkempt fire hazard.
